Hi Ainslie, I believe it’s in the late morning. Instead of partying with a margarita you can party with some coffee. 😉

Looking forward to it, Karl! It’s the first time I’ll attend a Twitter party. I’ve been curious as to how it works.

I’m game to try this, but I”m not a Twitterer, although I’ve had a Twitter account for some time. I haven’t signed up, because a) received an error message asking me to add some other stuff before the URL and B) because although jimburson.com is my URL, it’s not a website about me; I’m the behind the scenes person, so wasn’t sure if I should add it to the party.

Also, not sure I understand about being on a phone call & tweeting at the same time. How does that work? I clicked on the Tweet Grid & Twitter Search links, but didn’t understand what I was viewing.

Anyone want to be a mentor to me? Or should I just muddle along on Thursday?

    • Karl Staib says

      April 17, 2011 at 1:46 am

Hi Jennifer, There will be a learning curve, but just try to keep it simple. You need to follow the hashtag that people put at the end of each tweet. The hashtag we created is #LGLparty. You can follow this using Tweetgrid or type it into the search box at the top of Twitter. As you follow the conversation on the phone and on Twitter just join in – retweet other people, answer questions, and hang out. That’s it. Good luck and have fun. Check out my article – “What is a Twitter party?” to get a little better understanding of how you can join in and win prizes.
